We may not have been blogging, but we haven't been twiddling our thumbs...

Errr...it's been awhile! Sorry about that. But we've got lots of good excuses:

In November Gunnar and Candice came out for a visit, and we spent a couple of days in Napa with Ben and Ali.

In December LL (with a lot of help from Clay) helped host the Junior League's first ever Finishing Touches Holiday Home Tour. And the funs not over yet, since she's co-chairing the 2009 Home Tour! Pictured here are LL, her 2009 co-chair Karen, Eugenie the VP of Fundraising and Felicity, the 2008 chair.

December also marked failed tape-out #1, but we suffered through it by...

...skiing in South Lake Tahoe with some of Clay's fam: brother Chris, sister Celeste, brother-in-law Leon and then of course LL and Clay. After that we were all off to Louisiana for a great Christmas.

In February we were off to Dallas to host a baby shower for god-sister Heather. Here we have new gandma Streak, LL, baby daddy/husband Mike, Heather, Leslie and Melissa.

In March LL took off to Las Angeles to help Braley celebrate her birthday. Lots of fun (and good Italian food) was had by all.

Somewhere in here was failed tape-out #2. Which we suffered through by...
...skiing in North Lake Tahoe (Squaw Valley) with Greg. Just in case you were wondering it's not just the photo--Clay's goggles really were that big.

LL was off again in early April to Austin for Erin Campbell Naman's baby shower. Here we have Leslie, Erin (and Riley), LL and Christina. Yes, yes, LL is wearing the same dress she wore to the other baby shower. And if you have a baby she'll probably wear it to your shower, too. So there.

One last photo of the gang in Austin: Erin (and Riley), Brian, LL, Greg, Ann and Fry.

There were several other fun events including a fantastic visit from Erin and Bryan Geiger Smith/Smith, but alas, no photographic evidence.

And now we are just hanging tight waiting for tape-out attempt #3. Also are hoping pretty hard that it's not a fail, as we've already put the ski clothes away for the summer...
