A few apartment pics

After taking a several-month break from blogging, during which time productivity in other important areas of my life, such as making dinner and watching football, has improved 200%, LL says it's high time to get back on the horse.  

This is more of a wee baby post.  We just got new curtains, and the apartment is almost "complete."  So we took a few pics of the apt so that everyone can see how we're living.  We also want people to come visit, so this is sort of an advertisement, like you might see for a upscale hotel.  

This first one is of our new soap dish from Anthropologie.  If you come visit, you too can appreciate its fine workmanship in person.  

Here are the new Roman shades!  They are really cool.  LL ordered the fabric wholesale and had it sent to some lady we found on Ebay, who actually made the curtains.  The curtain lady did a great job, except for the fact that she was slow as Christmas (or I guess as slow as Halloween).  But we like them a lot, now that we have them!  

This one is in the living room.  BTW, I have an ongoing dispute with that pillow, but LL says we're both just going to have to learn to coexist.
